According to a new source, his decision to relocate despite rumors of marital problems with his wife, Jennifer Lopez, was driven by a desire to strengthen his relationship with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their children in order to facilitate co-parenting.
Ben Affleck feels ‘hopeful’ at his new house
The Accountant 2 star moved out of his shared house with wife Jennifer Lopez about two months ago and into a Brentwood rental property. He currently owns an equestrian estate in Los Angeles. A source told ET that “Ben really likes his new home and feels hopeful about the change.” This move came after Jen and Ben’s $60 million Beverly Hills property was listed for sale.

The source explained why Affleck wants to relocate: “He wanted to be closer to Jen Garner and their kids to make co-parenting easier.” The insider continued: “It’s been a hard time for him, but he’s continuing to make his well-being and his family a priority.”

What they had before is gone, and they’ve both accepted it.” However, new images of the pair taken separately show that, although living apart, Ben and Jen have not officially removed their marital rings.
“It has been a hard year with some unexpected realizations, changes, and obstacles, but Jen is trying to view her 55th birthday as a fresh start,” one insider told ET as the pop diva spent her special day in Bridgehampton, New York.
