RAWALPINI – Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), revealed that he had instructed party workers to hold a peaceful protest outside GHQ before to his arrest.
In an informal meeting with media in Adiala Jail, where he has been jailed for months in numerous cases, the former prime minister stated that he will request that his party’s lawmakers in the Centre and provinces go on hunger strike.
He said that approvers were being found against him in the May 9 trials.
Concerning growing electricity rates, he stated that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had negotiated expensive contracts with independent power producers (IPPs), resulting in a rise in power tariffs. He regretted the country’s economic plight.
The PTI founder also sought a judicial committee to investigate the Bannu incident.
In response to a query, Khan stated that he would apologize to anyone if he made a mistake.
