What Janhvi stated.
During the interview, Janhvi stated, “Main bohot hi asaan journey chun sakti thi.” Main iss film ki jagah or mere pichle kuch filmon ki jagah, main badi commercial films kar sakti thi jahan glamour hota, bohot asaani se reach milta, popularity ho jaata, box office ka number assured hota. Voh bohot asaan voyage hain. Usme success rate is practically certain. Isme bohot risk hai (I could have chosen a simple journey. Instead of the projects I’ve done, I could’ve done a large commercial film with a glamorous role, easy access, guaranteed popularity, and box office statistics).
I realize it’s a longer, tougher game.
She went on to say, “I realize it’s a longer, tougher game. I’m aware that, in terms of box office, the high-risk films I’ve chosen have resulted in more misses than hits. But I believe that my development as an artist has been more rewarding than if I had taken the easier road.”
Ulajh is Janhvi’s second release of the year, following the sports drama Mr and Mrs Mahi, which was published in May. Fans will see Janhvi making her Tollywood debut in the highly awaited pan-India blockbuster Devara: Part 1, co-starring NTR Jr. She has also agreed to star in Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming film with Ram Charan.
The later film was recently released in Hyderabad in front of the major actors and Boney Kapoor. She also has Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, opposite Varun Dhawan.
