ISLAMABAD – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said the federation and provinces will cooperate now that the issues have been resolved.
The chief minister stated that his meetings with Minister for Power Awais Leghari were beneficial, emphasizing that the PTI founder has always pushed for strong institutions.
Gandapur, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Federal Minister Awais Leghari attended a press conference.
Gandapur stressed that they were not in conflict with any institution or the system itself. He emphasized the importance of distinguishing between political and administrative issues. He requested relief from loadshedding for KP and the cooperation of the province’s population.
He also stated that his province provided electricity to the entire country and offered to work together to eliminate line losses.
He stated that election-related cases were in court and that there was no conflict with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor.
Leghari acknowledged his delight with the day’s events. He congratulated Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for resolving the challenges and stated that they had created a model to be shared with other provinces.
Leghari stated that a strategy for the issue would be developed soon. He complimented the PTI for taking a big step and thanked the KP chief minister.
Naqvi stated that there was a positive interaction with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. He admitted that the major problem in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been addressed. Naqvi spoke on his long-standing relationship with Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
