ISLAMABAD – According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain-wind/thunderstorm conditions with light snowfall over hills are predicted in Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and neighboring mountainous areas over the next 24 hours.
The majority of the country will experience dry weather, with some cloudiness in the higher elevations. According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave was impacting the top portions of the country and is expected to continue till tomorrow.
Light to moderate rain has fallen in isolated areas of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Northern Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan over the last 24 hours. Other parts of the country continued to have dry weather.
Shaheed Benazirabad remained the hottest place in the country on Thursday, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius.
