RAWALPINI – The military’s propaganda wing announced Monday that 11 terrorists were killed in two operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations took place on April 21 and 22 in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan.
An intelligence-based operation was launched in DI Khan in response to reports of terrorist activity. During the operation, 10 terrorists were effectively neutralised following an intensive firefight.
In another confrontation in North Waziristan, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists, resulting in one terrorist being killed.
These terrorists continued to engage in a variety of terrorist activities in the area, including attacks on security forces and civilians. According to the ISPR, they also recovered arms and ammo.
Locals praised the security forces’ efforts to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country.
