ISLAMABAD –Shafaat Ali, a standup comedian, captivated the audience by impersonating Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at an event honoring the national hockey team.
The Prime Minister hosted the national hockey team for the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup final. The artist is well-known for imitating politicians and has a large social media following.
The prime minister brought the comedian to the stage and requested him to perform or tell a joke for the crowd.
Previously, Shafaat was hesitant to impersonate the Prime Minister in public.
However, the prime minister indicated there was no problem and that the comic may continue to make jokes about him.
