In order to stop data leaks, Android users are advised by the UAE Cybersecurity Council to update the software on their phones.
The authority alerted readers to “high-risk vulnerabilities” on Android devices in a post on X, noting that Google had published patches to address these problems.
If you don’t update, you face the danger of losing data, having your identity stolen, and having harmful software take over your phone without your awareness.
Android versions 11, 12, 12L, 13, and 14 have been determined by the council to be susceptible to this danger.
The council had previously urged Apple users to update their software in December 2023 with a similar alert.
