Will BLACKPINK’s Jennie make solo comeback with an album in June? Here’s what her agency said

If Jennie releases a solo album in June, it will be her first release since leaving YG Entertainment and launching her own label OA.

Following many claims that BLACKPINK singer Jennie will make a solo comeback with an album in June, her new agency, OA (ODD ATELIER), has commented. What OA has said regarding Jennie’s comeback
The guy stated, “Nothing has been confirmed.” Earlier, News1 claimed that Jennie is preparing to release a solo album in June. It would be her first appearance after quitting YG Entertainment and launching her own label OA (ODD ATELIER) in 2023.

Jennie’s contract with YG Entertainment has expired, although she and the other three BLACKPINK members (Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo) have renewed their contracts for group activities. This means that Jennie’s group activities with BLACKPINK will continue to be managed by YG Entertainment, while her solo efforts will be overseen by OA.

When Jennie spoke of OA
Earlier this year, Jennie appeared on KBS 2TV’s discussion show, The Seasons, presented by Lee Hyori, where she discussed her own label, Odd Atelier. She stated, according to Allkpop, “I will continue to undertake group activities (with YG Entertainment), but I wanted to do solo activities more freely, so I carefully formed (my own agency). There is a crew that has been with me for a long time (at my label). I wanted to be free to participate in any events and advertisements.”

Jennie unveiled her new agency.
Jennie revealed her new agency in December of last year. She said, “Hello, my name is Jennie. This year has been filled with numerous accomplishments, and I am grateful for all of the affection I have received. I’m also thrilled about what’s to come, as I begin my solo journey in 2024 with a firm I founded called oa. Please show plenty of love for my fresh beginnings with oa and, of course, BLACKPINK.”
