Faisal Vawda refuses to apologise over his anti-judiciary outburst

ISLAMABADOn Tuesday, Senator Faisal Vawda refused to apologize for his anti-judiciary rant in the contempt of court case.

Senator Vawda responded to the contempt of court case before the Supreme Court.

Vawda responded that he respected the court and would never consider undermining its dignity.

“The accused believe that the court’s image should be unblemished in the eyes of the public. He argued that an active and dynamic judicial system is the solution to all of Pakistan’s problems.

The senator quoted the chief justice as saying the court must admit and accept its mistakes.

The senator went on to say that the purpose of his press conference was not to insult the judiciary, but rather to promote the good of the country. He urged the court to proceed with caution when dealing with contempt of court issues.

In his reply, Vawda requested that the Supreme Court withdraw its contempt of court notice.

Senator Vawda also submitted transcripts of the speeches of PTI’s Raoof Hasan, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in addition to the reply.
