Health insurance for 5,000 journalists on cards: Ata Tarar

ISLAMABAD – Ata Tarar, the Federal Information Minister, announced that health insurance will be provided to 5,000 journalists in the first phase.

Tarar told the media at the press club that the government is concerned about journalists’ well-being. He emphasized the importance of working together to better serve the country. He also emphasized the government’s belief in free expression while combating misinformation.

Tarar emphasized the importance of everyone contributing to the end of fake news. He mentioned that a lengthy meeting with journalists would be held soon, and that his doors are always open to them.

Furthermore, Ata Tarar stated that the government will provide a minimum wage of Rs 37,000.
