Imran Khan requests personal appearance in NAB amendment case hearing

ISLAMABADImran Khan, the detained founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has filed a request with the Supreme Court for a personal appearance in the National Accountability (NAB) Ordinance 1999 amendment case, according to reports.

According to reports, the former prime minister wrote a letter to Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa requesting permission for a personal presence at the next hearing on May 30.

Khan signed the letter and sent it to the Adiala Jail management to submit to the Supreme Court.

During the last session on May 17, the court issued orders to present the PTI founder via video link at the next hearing set for May 30.

The PTI founder was not given the opportunity to forward his points during the proceedings on May 17.
