Kangana Ranaut reacts to people supporting CISF constable who slapped her: ‘No crime ever happens without a reason…’

Kangana Ranaut has responded to supporters of the CISF constable following the slap incident. She requested that they ‘look into their own psychological criminal tendencies’.

Days after being allegedly slapped by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable at Chandigarh airport, newly-elected MP Kangana Ranaut has spoken out, slamming those who ‘are ok with’ what happened. The BJP leader and actor took to X on Saturday with a message for those who defended the CISF constable after she ‘touched her body without permission’. Vishal Dadlani says he’ll offer work to CISF woman who slapped Kangana Ranaut, as actor questions Bollywood’s silence.

‘Do not carry so much grudge, hatred, and jealousy.’
Kangana tweeted, “Every rapist, murderer, or thief has a strong emotional, physical, psychological, or financial reason to commit a crime; no crime occurs without a reason, yet they are convicted and sentenced to prison. If you share the criminal’s strong emotional impulse to commit a crime against all laws of the land.”

She further wrote, “Remember, if you are ok with breaking into someone’s intimate zone, without their permission touching their bodies and assaulting them, then deep down you are ok with rape or murder as well because that’s also just penetration or stab only what’s the big deal, you must look deeper into your psychological criminal tendencies, I suggest please take up yoga and meditation or else life will become a bitter and burdensome experience, don’t carry so much grudge, hate

What exactly happened?
The slap occurred on June 6, as Kangana was about to board a flight to Delhi to attend a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting. Kangana was allegedly slapped by a CISF constable on her way to Delhi. An FIR has been filed against the constable.

Kangana posted a video on her official Instagram page hours after the incident, detailing the events and expressing concern about ‘rising terrorism and extremism in Punjab’.

In the video, Kangana stated, “I’m getting a lot of phone calls from the media and my supporters. First and foremost, I am completely safe and fine. The incident occurred at Chandigarh Airport involving security personnel. When I emerged from the security check, a security guard in another cabin approached me from behind and hit me on the face before abusing me.”

“When I asked her (CISF jawan) why she did this, she explained that she supported the farmers’ protest. I’m safe, but my concern is that terrorism and extremism are on the rise in Punjab; how do we deal with that?” she asked.

On the day of the incident, another video was widely shared in which the constable stated that her mother was one of the farmers holding a sit-in protest against the farm laws, which have since been repealed. She was heard saying in Hindi, “Kangana gave a statement that women farmers were sitting at the farmers’ protest for ₹100 each.” My mother was also sitting there when she made this statement. “I couldn’t take my mother’s insult.”
