Today Is The Legendary Poet Mohsin Naqvi’s Death Anniversary.

It has been twenty-seven years since the poet and renowned writer Syed Mohsin Naqvi passed away.

On Monday, or today, his admirers are remembering the great and exceptional literary figure as they mark the 27th anniversary of his passing.

Mohsin Naqvi, who was born on May 10, 1947, gained widespread recognition in the literary world for his exceptional and one-of-a-kind works.

His birthplace was Sadat, a village close to Dera Ghazi Khan. He later graduated from Multan’s Govt College on Bosan Road.

He graduated with a master’s degree from Lahore’s University of Punjab.

Although Mohsin Naqvi gained notoriety, his true name was Ghulam Abbas Naqvi.

Among his writings on Urdu poetry are “Rida-e-Khwab,” “Talu-e-ashk,” “Barg-e-Sehra,” “Azab-e-deed,” and “Khaima-e-Jaan.”

Syed Chirag Hussain Shah, his father, was a food trader. His name was Ghulam Abbas from his parents, but he eventually changed it to Ghulam Abbas Mohsin Naqvi.

On January 15, 1996, he was killed in Lahore. His remains were brought to Dera Ghazi Khan, his homeland, and interred there in front of hundreds of mourners.

He was also referred to as Ahl al-Bayt’s poet. All throughout the world, his poetry is widely praised and performed.
