Karachi – According to reports, the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has intensified its probe following disclosures of widespread corruption in the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC).
According to reports, the ACE has requested the production of records related to the KWSC’s Anti-Theft Cell, as well as its expenses and activities.
It has also demanded the personal records of KWSC officers Muhammad Dilawar, Zaheer Sheikh, and Mirza Obaidur Rehman.
However, ACE officials claim that pressure was exerted in various ways to cease the investigation into fraudulent practices.
They claim that despite being summoned, the KWSC officers did not cooperate.
