The Bollywood veteran was brought to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, according to earlier reports in Indian media, because of a breathing problem.
According to reports in the Indian media, Bachchan had the angioplasty on March 15.
On social media, a recent video of the Bollywood actor appeared, showing him in perfect health.
Following his viewing of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) championship game, Bachchan was observed leaving the stadium.
The renowned actor assured the public that he was OK and that all of the rumors were false.
