Actor Aamir Khan of Bollywood stunned fans on March 14 during a special live Instagram session by revealing a significant detail regarding the eagerly awaited Andaz Apna Apna sequel.
According to Pinkvilla, the actor disclosed through a barrage of texts that filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is now writing the script for Andaz Apna Apna 2.
Aamir revealed, “Scriptwriter Rajkumar Santoshi is working on Andaz Apna Apna 2.”
“I’m glad he started thinking about it because I think it will be a great film for all of us to do and for audiences to watch,” he continued, expressing his excitement for the project.
He did, however, issue a warning, stating that the movie is still in its early stages and lowering fans’ hopes for an early release.
Fans who have been anticipating the sequel to the 1994 cult film for a very long time are thrilled by the announcement. The popular characters Amar and Prem, portrayed by Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, are highly anticipated to return to the big screen.
Aamir said, “Even I think we should do a film together,” expressing a desire to collaborate. Salman, Shah Rukh, and I were thinking when we were together that we needed to work on a movie together for our careers.”
For ourselves and our viewers, we have to make an effort to work together on a film. We thought of this, so let’s see what transpires. I hope we will definitely proceed with it if a strong script is supplied.
