ISLAMABAD- Asfandyar Wali Khan, the leader of the Awami National Party (ANP), has lost his spouse.
ANP spokeswoman Zahid Khan confirmed the death of the ANP chief’s wife.
The deceased was also the mother of Aimal Wali Khan, provincial president of the ANP.
The deceased will be laid to rest at Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Funeral prayers would take place at 5:30 p.m. in Wali Bagh, Charsadda.
President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz have all extended their condolences to Asfandyar Wali Khan and his family.
