Apple announces its big annual conference, where it could reveal its AI strategy

Apple announced on Tuesday that its annual developer conference, WWDC, will take place from June 10 to June 14.

The conference will be livestreamed on Apple’s website, but the company will also invite certain software developers to its campus on the first day to “celebrate in person,” according to Apple.

This year’s conference could see Apple unveil its long-awaited artificial intelligence strategy and consumer features. In February, Cook stated that Apple was “investing significantly” in AI and teased an AI-related revelation “later this year,” which many observers assume would take place at the Worldwide Developers Conference.

On the first day of WWDC, Apple regularly releases the most recent versions of its iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV software via a “keynote” video hosted by CEO Tim Cook and other Apple employees, which is also live on YouTube. At previous conferences, the corporation also unveiled new professional-grade technology, such as Mac laptops.

Apple also intends to unveil the first major software upgrade to the Vision Pro, the virtual reality headset it introduced earlier this year, at this year’s conference.
