BLACKPINK’s How You Like That has joined Spotify’s Billions Club, alongside Taylor Swift’s Cruel Summer and BTS’ Dynamite.
BLACKPINK has made history by joining Spotify’s Billions Club, with iconic music stars such as Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake. The famed K-pop girl trio attained the milestone after their 2020 hit track How You Like That received over one billion streaming this week. The four-member group is the first and only K-pop girl group to accomplish this achievement thus far.

The group comprises of four K-pop idols: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. BLACKPINK is considered the “biggest girl group in the world” due to their global success. With their new Spotify record, How You Like That becomes the first song by a female K-pop trio and the first Korean song without collaboration by a K-pop artist to reach 1 billion streams.
With their 2020 hit, the trio joins another K-pop and global superstar, BTS, who has two Billions Club tracks, Dynamite and Butter. While BLACKPINK has only recently been added to the elite list, Lisa, one of the group’s members, has smashed the record with her solo tune Money. Jennie has also earned over a billion views on YouTube for the music video for her song, Solo.
