Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal in the men’s javelin, defeating defending champion Neeraj Chopra of India to win Pakistan’s first Olympic athletic medal at the Paris Olympics 2024, while also surpassing the previous Olympic record with a tremendous throw of 92.97 metres.
