ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday that the government’s initiatives were beginning to bear fruit, and the country was moving closer to economic stability.
He was chairing a conference of National Assembly (MNA) members and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz ministers to discuss the government’s economic plans, foreign investment, and the present political environment.
The MNAs expressed trust in the prime minister’s leadership and the government’s efforts to stabilize the economy. The prime minister credited the whole government team with the success in attracting foreign investment and diplomatic successes, and expressed optimism that Pakistan’s economic position would improve further if they continued to work as hard as they had.
He stated that the government was working hard to provide the people with as much help as possible. The prime minister congratulated the federal ministers and MNAs for their attendance at the meeting. The group also discussed the present political scenario in the country.
