ISLAMABAD –Rana Sanaullah, Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs, stated on Monday that in a parliamentary democracy, discussion is the only way to settle national concerns; without it, there is no other choice.
Speaking to a private news channel, Rana Sanaullah stated that the ‘leader of the house’ and the ‘head of the opposition’ were two essential components of this democratic system.
However, alluding to the previous PTI chairman, he lamented that there is a political leader who does not trust in the democratic system or parliament.
He accused the PTI founder of wanting to foment anarchy and unrest through democracy. Rana Sanaullah emphasized that discussion was essential for tackling national challenges.
