Alanna Panday hosted a blue and pastel-themed baby shower in Mumbai for her closest friends and family; here’s what happened.
Model and YouTuber Alanna Panday and her husband, Ivor McCray, are soon to become parents. On Thursday, the pair had a baby shower at her parents’ home in Mumbai, which was attended by Alanna’s cousin, star Ananya Panday, and her reported boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur, as well as Bollywood celebrities Gauri Khan and Bipasha Basu. The Baby Shower
Alanna and Ivor live in the United States, but they held a baby shower in Mumbai. Ananya took to Instagram to offer insider photos from the event. Alanna looked stunning in a white gown, while Ananya chose a printed white and blue strapless dress. “Maasis and the baby mama,” she wrote, accompanying a photo of herself holding Alanna’s baby bump. Stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania also posted a photo of Alanna and Ananya with their cousins at the baby shower.
The celebrity guest list includes Shanaya Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Alizeh Agnihotri, and Nirvan Khan, as seen in paparazzi videos. Aditya, dressed in chinos and a denim shirt, posed for the paparazzi before heading inside. Gauri also dressed in full denim, meeting her guests and posing for photos before traveling to the baby shower.
Bipasha arrived with her husband, actor Karan Singh Grover, and their daughter, Devi. In addition to Bobby Deol, Salman Khan’s mother, Sushila Charak, Helen, and sisters Alvira and Arpita attended the celebration.
The gender reveal
Alanna and Ivor recently published a video revealing their baby’s gender. In the video, the pair is shown using wine glasses to cut into a cake with white frosting, revealing the cake’s blue hue. They wrote, “Can’t wait to meet our little baby boy,” and sent images. The pair lives in the United States and got married in Mumbai last year.
Ananya posted the footage to her Instagram stories, captioned “My heart may just explode…little baby… We love you so much already. I’m going to be a maasi. Alana Panday, Ivor, best wishes.”
