ISLAMABAD – On Wednesday (today), the Supreme Court will hear challenges against the annulment of civilian trials in military courts.
A six-member bench, led by Justice Aminuddin, will hear appeals against the annulment of civilian proceedings in military courts today at 11:30.
Justices Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Shahid Waheed, Musrat Hilali, and Irfan Saadat Khan are also on the bench.
In a recent hearing, the Supreme Court asked the attorney-general for information on the accused sentenced to three years in prison by military tribunals.
The court granted the release of 20 suspects who were sentenced to one year in prison before Eid. The Supreme Court received facts about the accused who were discharged on Eid.
