Naqvi says wheat commission won’t find anything against former caretaker govt

LAHOREFederal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the wheat investigation commission will discover no evidence against the last Punjab caretaker government.

Speaking to the reporters at the FIA headquarters, the former Punjab caretaker chief minister stated that the provincial government’s wheat procurement was limited to purchases from local farmers and not from outside.

He was confident that the probe commission will find no malfeasance on the side of the Punjab caretaker administration.

Naqvi emphasized his dedication to accountability, claiming that he and his staff had worked tirelessly for over a year.

He praised the work of police personnel in KP and Sindh to battle terrorism and narcotics.

Naqvi addressed concerns regarding overbilling in electricity bills, claiming that millions of units have been returned to customers.

The interior minister also promised to combat corruption in offices, including expanded hours at passport offices to accommodate public demand.
