Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to Instagram to post photos and videos from her visit to the Ram Mandir.
Priyanka Chopra was not in India for the commissioning of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya in January. During her recent trip to India, the actress took a break and visited a temple with her husband, actor-singer Nick Jonas, daughter Malti Marie, and mother, Madhu. Priyanka posted a series of photos and videos to Instagram, calling them “Jai Siya Ram” in Hindi and adding, “Blessings for the little one and the family.” One of the photos she shared showed her praying in the temple with Malti. The other photos show her, Nick, and Madhu spending time at the temple and taking photos with the rest of the family.
She posted a video in which she can be seen shielding Malti from the wind at the airport with her saree. She later assures that Nick receives a tilak on his forehead once he enters the temple. In the same video, she can be heard asking Malti to pronounce ‘Ayodhya,’ and the tiny one does. For the visit, Priyanka dressed in a yellow saree, Nick in a white kurta, and Malti in pink.
Priyanka’s India tour
Priyanka arrived in Mumbai this week with her daughter Malti to launch a new Bulgari store, and Nick subsequently joined them. The actor’s appearance at the event was widely discussed, with her wearing a white crop top and airy slacks, as well as a lovely pink saree for the occasion. During her stay, she also attended an Isha Ambani-hosted Holi celebration at one of the Ambani homes.

Priyanka has agreed to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, although filming has yet to begin. She recently met Farhan on her visit, with fans wondering if it was for the project or his upcoming film, Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh. She recently appeared in the rom-com Love Again, starring Sam Heughan, which is an English version of the German film SMS für Dich. She will shortly appear in the film Heads of State, alongside Idris Elba, John Cena, and Stephen Root in major roles.
