ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing for intra-court challenges challenging the establishment of military courts [to handle cases involving the violent protests of May 9].
According to sources, the Supreme Court will hear the appeals on March 25 (Monday). Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has convened a fresh six-member bench for this purpose.
Justice Aminuddin Khan will preside over the bench, which will also include Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Shahid Wahid, Justice Musarrat Hilali, and Justice Irfan Saadat Khan.
