LAHORE- On Friday, Justice Malik Shehzad Amad Khan took his oath as Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.
At the Governor’s House, Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman swore the newly appointed chief justice into office. Maryam Nawaz, Punjab’s Chief Minister, also attended the function.
The ceremony was attended by Supreme Court Justice (retd) Khalilur Rehman Ramde, Justice (retd) Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi of the Lahore High Court, Justice Shahid Bilal Hasan, and Justice Miss Alia Neelum.
It should be noted that President Arif Alvi confirmed Justice Malik Shehzad’s appointment as Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.
