PM Shehbaz stresses on close cooperation for economic stability

KarachiOn Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between the center and the provinces in achieving economic prosperity and stability in the country.

The premier was speaking to the Sindh cabinet during his first visit to Karachi since taking office following the February 8 elections.

He emphasized the importance of all political stakeholders working together to move forward.

He stated that Allah provided opportunities for the PPP in Sindh and the PML-N in Punjab in the February 8 poll, and emphasized the importance of following the mandate given by the people in general elections.

Premier Shehbaz stated that the growth of Sindh and Punjab is the development of Pakistan, and emphasized the need to develop other provinces as well.

He stated that we must make difficult judgments that may not be in our best interests.

He stated that the visits of Saudi and Iranian delegations will promote foreign investment in the country while also strengthening our economy.

Following the visits of Saudi and Iranian delegations, the prime minister announced that investors and foreign leaders from other countries will soon visit Pakistan.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif told Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah that all concerns will be resolved by mutual consent.

Premier Shehbaz offered the guarantee during a one-on-one meeting with Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister’s House after arriving in Sindh’s capital on a one-day visit in the morning.

They also addressed development projects and other issues, such as Sindh’s part of the divisible pool.

Earlier, upon arrival in Karachi, he was greeted by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

He was driven to Mazar-e-Quaid from the airport. The prime minister placed a wreath on the grave and offered Fateha.

Later, the prime minister took an oath from renowned youth to serve Pakistan and contribute to the country’s growth.

It is worth noting that this is Shehbaz Sharif’s first visit to Karachi since becoming prime minister.

He is set to meet with Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry officials, as well as representatives from various trade and commercial organisations.
