PM Shehbaz to address WEF special session, meet Saudi ministers today

ISLAMABAD -On the third day of his visit to the Kingdom, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to attend the concluding plenary of the World Economic Forum’s Special Meeting on “Rejuvenating Growth”.

The final plenary featured several public speakers, including Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim, British Secretary of State David Cameron, WEF Geneva President Børge Brende, and WEF Head of Middle East and North Africa Maroun Kairouz.

The prime minister’s third-day itinerary includes discussions with Saudi ministers of trade, energy, the environment, and agriculture. He is also set to meet with his Malaysian counterpart.

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, which begins on Sunday (today).
