Sara Ali Khan felt ‘irritated’ when other actors copied her style: ‘I genuinely greet people like that’

Sara Ali Khan discussed her namaste greeting manner and expressed her displeasure when other actors copied it.

Sara Ali Khan is enjoying the success of her two films, Ae Watan Mere Watan and Murder Mubarak, which were released consecutively. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the actor revealed that it concerned her when she felt like she was being ‘copied’ by other performers in the industry, but it’s comforting to know that her audience is well-versed in her approach. What Sara said.

In the latest interview, Sara stated, “It used to concern me when I thought I was being copied. Namaste, for example, is not an act. “I genuinely greet people like that, and it quickly became a template that every girl followed.”

She went on to say that now that her audience understands her style, she is no longer disturbed by it. “I used to get irritated when other girls wore Indian clothing to the airport and went with wet hair. But I knew that my darkshaks (audience) recognise me. It’s fine; it doesn’t bother me anymore. They also write ‘Sara ko copy kar rahi hai.‘ (They’re imitating Sara) Now I find it humorous. Now I’m like, accha theek hai been, kar le (it’s fine if you do it too),” she added.
