LAHORE –Sardar Salim Haider Khan, the PPP leader, will take his oath as Punjab governor tomorrow (May 10).
Governor Balighur Rehman was in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah, therefore the swearing-in event had been postponed twice.
Khan will take the oath of office at 4 p.m. in the Governor’s House.
Lahore High Court Chief Justice Shahzad Khan will administer the oath.
The occasion would be attended by PPP leaders, workers, provincial cabinet members, PML-N leaders, and others.
