Varun Dhawan is 37 today. The soon-to-be parent is presently preparing for his next release, Baby John. In the previous 12 years as an actor, the Bollywood hunk has left fans raving over various onscreen romances, including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) with Alia Bhatt and Bawaal (2023), co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. But his real-life romance with fashion designer Natasha Dalal is equally captivating! In reality, it’s a lovely story about how two people who grew up together got their happily ever after. Varun and Natasha met for the first time in sixth grade. They were close friends for many years before they began dating after attending a music festival in their twenties.
Varun fell in love when he saw Natasha walking on a basketball court during lunchtime. Clearly, love at first sight is a real phenomena! However, the latter rejected him three to four times before realising her genuine affections for him. This was the beginning of a decade-long courtship. However, the couple kept their connection a secret for a long period. Then, on an episode of Koffee With Karan in 2018, Varun spoke up about his real-life leading lady, Katrina Kaif, on the couch. The actor even acknowledged that things are serious and that he intends to marry Natasha one day.
Varun and Natasha married on January 24, 2021, in a lavish but intimate wedding at The Mansion House resort in Alibaug. Varun and Natasha later welcomed a Beagle puppy into their house, embracing ‘pawrenthood’.
