About Chhava
Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna work together for the first time in Laxman Utekar’s Chhava, a historical drama about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the film, Vicky plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika plays his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale.

Rashmika discusses the film
Rashmika recently wrapped filming for her role in the movie. After finishing the film, she took to Instagram to thank the cast and crew. Rashmika thanked Laxman and Vicky for their good collaboration on set, writing, “@laxman.utekar sir… I’m just wondering how a man can manage such a large set with at least 1500 working people with such calm and elegance.”

“Sir, you saw me as Yesubai when no one in the world could have imagined it, and I honestly wonder how, and it is not just me. The entire country will wonder how… but witnessing those visuals makes me cry… you’ve coaxed a performance out of me that I’m delighted for the world to see,” she added.

Rashmika, addressing Vicky as Maharaj, stated that she enjoyed working with the actor. “It’s been a pleasure to work with you. You are just too nice and friendly (except for the last day when you were just taking my case), but the majority of the time you were fantastic. I’m kidding. You’re a real gem. I’ll always wish you the best, man. It was such a delight. “Mom has told me to convey regards to you,” she continued.

The film is being produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and is planned to open in theaters on December 6.

Vicky, in addition to Chhava, will appear in Bad News and Love & War. Meanwhile, Rashmika will appear in three Telugu films: Pushpa 2: The Rule, Rainbow, and The Girlfriend.
