Anisha, The Bride Of Prince Mateen Of Brunei, Adds Glitz To The 10-Day Royal Wedding

Anisha Isa Kalebic and Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei are getting married in style!

The pair has had a hectic week as they prepare for a 10-day royal wedding that takes place from January 7 to January 16. Anisha is making a statement with her attire.

When designer Teh Firdaus unveiled her debut look in pictures taken by Muash Rosman last weekend, fans got to see her embracing bridal feelings for the first time.

The Malaysian bridal designer said, “Honored to play a role in the Brunei royal wedding,” as the Instagram description for the pictures on January 6.

“Witness the grace of Yang Mulia Dayang Anisha Rosnah Adam Isa Kalebic in our custom-made baju kurung in intricately woven tenunan Brunei, as she embraces elegance during her Khatam Quran event.”

The bride looked radiant in her traditional gown, which had an embroidered skirt line and sleeves with a sparkling design. A white hijab and a stunning diamond ring on her left ring finger finished the ensemble.

At the Berbedak Mandi ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman, Anisha made a statement with her lace ensemble. Prince Mateen’s sweetheart looked radiant in a lace-overlaid white long-sleeve dress. She wore her hair back behind a matching veil and added diamond and pearl statement earrings for a little sparkle.

In addition to sharing some images from the ceremony on Instagram, royal photographer Rosman recognized the ensemble as another Teh Firdaus design.

“The people closest to HRH Prince ‘Abdul Mateen and YM Dayang Anisha Rosnah binti Adam showered them with blessings.

The photographer posted an Instagram carousel with the comment, “Parents, siblings, and esteemed elders graced this momentous occasion, enveloping the soon-to-be-wedded pair in an aura of glamour and tradition.”

On the fifth day of a 10-day royal wedding, the son of the Sultan of Brunei took part in a solemnization ritual, according to the Associated Press.

The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, hosted the exclusive Islamic marriage, where Mateen confirmed his approval of the Akad Nikah, as reported by the UAE publication The National.

After the ceremony was over, the groom signed papers while seated amid candles and dressed in wedding white. After leaving the mosque in a fancy car, Prince Mateen waved to the admirers who had gathered to see him.

Anisha wasn’t seen, but on Wednesday she was the center of attention during a royal powdering ritual. The National reports that as part of the custom known as Istiadat Berbedak, the bride and groom are blessed by close family members who apply a powder paste to their hands in hopes of attracting fertility and prosperity.
